How to Connect to the Live Room on a Mac

Important – start with your browser closed.

Plug in an external USB soundcard.

I use:

• Plugable USB Audio Adapter
• Neewer USB EXTERNAL SOUND CARD

SoS member Jacob uses:

• Behringer UCA202

Set up the sound settings on your mac (access via system settings or option click the speaker icon in the top right menu bar on your mac):

Now you can launch the live room:

• https://schoolofscratch.com/sos-scratch-room/

The first time you open it you need to grant flash access to your machine:

If for any reason you need to access these settings again, right click on the volume / speaker icon near the bottom of the tiny chat room.

Next click “start broadcast”

Select your webcam:

Select your sound source – USB Audio Device

Select “open microphone”

Make sure you are muted until it is your turn.
