You reserve the right to revoke this permission, and should contact School of Scratch immediately if you wish to do so.
Competitions, Giveaways and Events
From time to time School of Scratch may host and promote scratching related competitions, giveaways and events. These are provided on an ‘as is’ basis.
Prizes and awards associated with competitions and giveways cannot be exchanged for alternative prizes and awards or monetary value. In the event that prizes or awards arrive damaged or do not arrive at all, we are not obligated to, but may at our discretion provide suitable replacements. If there are any issues with prizes or awards you receive, you should notify us within 7 days so we can take appropriate action. We will attempt to notify winners (most often by email), and once notifcation has been sent we will wait 30 days for acknowledgement. If after 30 days no acknowledgement has been received, we will select another winner to receive the competition or giveaway prize and the originally selected winner will forfeit their prize or award.
To participate in any competition, giveaway or event you must be at least the age of majority in your country, state or province. You should not attempt to cheat at the competition or giveaway, nor should you attempt to sway any results that may be linked to the competition or giveaway.
When partnering with School of Scratch to provide prizes to win or giveaway at no monetary value, you cannot later request some or all of the value of any prizes or a monetary equivalent.
School of Scratch reserves the right to end any competition, giveaway or event at a time of our choosing, and has the right to update or change the terms and conditions relating to future competitions at any time.
Your schoolofscratch.com Account
If you create an account on schoolofscratch.com, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with schoolofscratch.com. You must not represent yourself in a misleading or unlawful manner, including in a manner intended to trade on the name or reputation of others, and School of Scratch may change or remove any accounts that it considers inappropriate or unlawful, or otherwise likely to cause School of Scratch liability. You must immediately notify School of Scratch of any unauthorized uses of your schoolofscratch.com account and / or facebook group account or any other breaches of security. School of Scratch will not be liable for any acts or omissions by You, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.
Copyright and intellectual property
We own our stuff; you own yours.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to, or otherwise share on the site. However, by posting, uploading, or sharing your content, you grant us a non-exclusive, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to access, use, and display your content in connection with the site and services we provide to you. To the extent that any rights to such materials, under applicable law, do not vest directly in School of Scratch, you hereby assign to School of Scratch the ownership of all such rights, including without limitation all copyrights, in such materials without the necessity of any further consideration and School of Scratch shall be entitled to obtain and hold in its own name all such rights in such materials. To the extent that any such rights to such materials do not vest directly in School of Scratch and applicable law prohibits the assignment of such rights to School of Scratch, you hereby grant to School of Scratch a royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sublicenseable, irrevocable, perpetual license to all such rights without the necessity of any further consideration.
School of Scratch Rules

Payment and Renewal
- General Terms
By selecting a product or service, you agree to pay School of Scratch the one-time (lifetime) and/or monthly subscription fees indicated (additional payment terms may be included in other communications). Subscription payments will be charged on a pre-pay basis on the day you sign up for a membership and will cover the use of that service for a monthly or lifetime subscription period as indicated. Payments are not refundable. - Automatic Renewal
Unless you notify School of Scratch before the end of the applicable subscription period that you want to cancel a subscription or cancel your membership via your account page, your subscription will automatically renew and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable monthly subscription fee for such subscription (as well as any taxes) using any credit card or other payment mechanism we have on record for you. Upgrades can be canceled at any time by submitting your request to School of Scratch in writing.
School of Scratch Services
- Fees; Payment
By signing up for a Services account you agree to pay School of Scratch the applicable setup fees and recurring fees. Applicable fees will be invoiced starting from the day your services are established and in advance of using such services. School of Scratch reserves the right to change the payment terms and fees upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to you. Services can be canceled by you at anytime on thirty (30) days written notice to School of Scratch. - Support
If your service includes access to priority email support. “Email support” means the ability to make requests for technical support assistance by email at any time (with reasonable efforts by School of Scratch to respond within one business days) concerning the use of the VIP Services. “Priority” means that support takes priority over support for users of the standard or free schoolofscratch.com services. All support will be provided in accordance with School of Scratch standard services practices, procedures and policies.
Canceling your account
You can cancel your account at any time by visiting Manage Account → Subscriptions → Turn off auto-renew → Yes, please in your School of Scratch account dashboard. Upon canceling your account, your customer data remains secure in our membership software service provider, Memberful, for the purposes of if you should wish to resubscribe and reactivate your account and contains a history of all past payments made. You may also contact us and ask us to delete your account completely, in which case all of your data will be immediately and permanently deleted from our servers. Offsite backups containing your data will be deleted within 30 days. This data deletion is irreversible.
Facebook Group Access
As a paying School of Scratch member, you have the option to join our ‘closed‘ facebook group.

When you purchase a subscription, you will be sent instructions on how to request to join our group.
You may remain a member of the group as long as you have a paid up, active membership. If your membership lapses / expires, you will be removed from the group. If you renew your membership, you may request to rejoin and you will be added again.
Your Facebook posts and comments in our group cannot be deleted by anyone at School of Scratches. Only you can delete your posts and comments. When you leave the group your posts will remain in the group unless you delete them before you leave the group or before you are removed should your membership lapse.
You may delete all of your own group posts yourself by logging into Facebook and navigating to: Activity log > More > Groups > Posts and Comments. There you can see all your posts. To delete them, click the ‘edit’ pencil and delete your posts and comments one by one. If you wish to delete all your posts and you have already been removed from the group, talk to us and we will enable group access so you can delete your posts. We are happy to help you!
Facebook has it’s own privacy policy. By joining our Facebook group, you are agreeing that you understand Facebook’s privacy policy and terms of service.
If you are not ok with how the group works and /or Facebook’s policies, please do not request to join our Facebook group.
